Terms of Use

StrikeSense provides desktop copyright-risk detection tools for creators, streamers, editors, and other users who want early warnings about music usage risk. References to StrikeSense, we, us, or our mean the operator of the StrikeSense service based in Hungary.

You can contact us about these terms, billing, access, or support at support@strikesense.app.

By using the website, creating an account, downloading the desktop application, starting a subscription, or buying lifetime access, you agree to these terms. If you use StrikeSense for a company or team, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.

• StrikeSense monitors selected desktop audio sources, recognizes likely music matches, checks configured rights sources, and displays status labels such as cleared, not cleared, or unknown.
• StrikeSense is an early risk signal. It is not legal advice, a license, a rights clearance service, or a guarantee that a platform will not issue a claim, mute, takedown, demonetization action, strike, or other enforcement action.
• You remain responsible for verifying licenses, keeping proof of rights, and deciding whether a track is safe for your specific stream, video, client work, or other use.

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity under your account unless the activity results from our failure to apply reasonable security measures.
• You must notify us promptly at support@strikesense.app if you suspect unauthorized account access.

Paid access may be offered as monthly, yearly, or lifetime plans. Prices, taxes, renewal terms, and payment methods are shown at checkout before purchase.

Payments are processed through Paddle. Paddle may act as merchant of record or payment processor depending on the checkout flow and region. We do not store full card numbers or card security codes.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Lifetime access is a one-time purchase for the core StrikeSense account features available under that lifetime plan, subject to these terms and reasonable anti-abuse limits.

You may cancel a recurring subscription through the billing portal made available in the app or by contacting support@strikesense.app. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges.

Refund handling is described in the Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory rights that apply to consumers under Hungarian or European Union law.

• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense, rent, or provide StrikeSense as a hosted service without our written permission.
• Do not bypass access controls, payment checks, rate limits, or technical restrictions.
• Do not use the service to infringe intellectual property rights, violate privacy rights, distribute malware, or interfere with our systems or other users.
• Do not submit false abuse reports, payment disputes, or support claims.

Subject to your compliance with these terms and payment obligations, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the StrikeSense desktop application for your own creator, editing, streaming, or internal business workflow.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by StrikeSense and its licensors.

The StrikeSense name, website, application, interface, detection workflow, text, graphics, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from them except as allowed by these terms or applicable law.

You retain ownership of content, audio, account information, and materials that you provide. You grant us the rights needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.

We aim to keep StrikeSense available and useful, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Detection results may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or inaccurate because of audio quality, rights data limitations, platform changes, or third-party service availability.

We may modify features, plans, pricing for future billing periods, or these terms. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way, such as through the website, app, email, or account notice.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, StrikeSense is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost content, platform penalties, copyright claims, strikes, takedowns, indirect losses, or consequential damages arising from reliance on detection results.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct or mandatory consumer rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without excluding mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your country of residence within the European Union or European Economic Area.
